Microsoft is dropping the Nokia Brand for its phone categories paving the way for Microsoft's Lumia. We have been aware about Lumia's sub branding under Nokia's high end models.
Recently, Microsoft made it official to drop the Nokia name and start to make some noise for the "Microsoft Lumia" phone brand powered by the latest Windows Operating System. Nokia will still be a separate company that will focus on mapping and network infrastructure.




Meanwhile, Nokia France will be the first country to use the Microsoft Lumia branding on all social media accounts and websites.Tech consumers will have to wait as to how Microsoft will present the new logo of Microsoft Lumia to their smartphones. Lumia in front and Microsoft at the back, whatever that be, we will be on the look out for that scoop.
